Medstar Emergency Medical Services offers an exciting career in Baldwin County, Alabama. Our privately owned service responds county wide to over 14,000 requests for ambulance service annually and provides EMS coverage for many special events such as Arts and Crafts, Shrimp Festival, Rodeos, Sporting Events, Boat Races, etc. In addition, we also provide Community Education such as CPR classes and Ambulance Show and Tells upon request.

As the sole provider of ambulance service in Baldwin County, we respond to both emergency and non-emergency requests for service from our ambulance stations around the county. Our main station headquarters is in Foley with sub-stations located in Orange Beach, Robertsdale, Fairhope, and Bay Minette.

Our EMT’s and Paramedics enjoy liberal protocols, state-of-the-art equipment including new modular ambulance units, 12-lead EKG, Pulse oximetry, ventilators, and on board computers for patient care reports and billing transmittal. Medstar offers excellent benefits: and in house training programs that include all refresher courses required for the EMT-Basic to Paramedic levels required by the state and national registry to maintain your licenses.

Medstar EMS believes in a higher standard of patient care and therefore requires and provides classes for certificates in Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Trauma Life Support, Hazard Materials Awareness and Emergency Vehicle Operations Course. Medstar also enjoys a very interactive approach between our employees and our Medical Direction Team, which further enhances our standards of patient care.

Medstar’s Salary Range and Benefit Package includes:
